they say money can’t buy happiness
and I guess technically that’s true
because happiness isn’t a quantifiable thing
unless
happiness is
the mixture of chemicals in the mind
that cause a smile
most of which I can buy online
or
happiness is
the way it feels when you laugh with friends
which I can easily trigger
with fun trips to the beach and good food
or
happiness is
the relief of stress I can buy
when I pay for your medical bills
your overpriced car insurance
your student loans
or
happiness is
traveling everywhere and seeing everything
experiencing life in a way only money can achieve
be it the gas for your car
or the plane tickets
or the hotel stays
I guess what I’m saying is this
money is not happiness on its own
but it can definitely buy some
